Collections of the Hemiptera Section
Altogether the collection contains certainly several hundreds of thousands of specimens many of which are not yet pinned, sorted and determined. Up to now there are specimens of about 11,000 species set up and mostly included in data files. In the following lists you can find a large part of the available species. Within the families the data files are arranged alphabetically. For the available type material (holotypes, lectotypes, syn- and paratypes) there are separate files presented.

The extensive collection of Aphids (plant lice) from Dr. Kurt Heinze (Berlin) is currently being sorted and registered in a database. Up to now (Sept. 2011) there are 553 species in 202 genera on more than 4.000 slides. This is certainly less than half of the whole collection. Mainly the subfamilies Chaitophorinae, Lachninae und Calaphidinae are meanwhile registered.
