Enter name of a species or parts of it and press "Enter" or click "Submit" button.

To search for a particular species, enter the full genus name and the species name or parts of the latter. Example: to find Encarsia tricolor Förster, it is sufficient to enter "Encarsia tricolor" as search term. In this case entering "Encarsia t" would give the same result because Encarsia tricolor is the only German Encarsia species with a species epitheton starting with "t".

Entering a genus name will find all species of that particular genus.

Using a species epitheton as search term will find all species with that particular epitheton. Example: "inaron" will find the following species Chalcis tricolor, Encarsia tricolor, Pteromalus tricolor, and Tetrastichus tricolor (with Encarsia tricolor as the only valid of all four species of the result set).

The search is not case sensitive.
