Various aspects of dipteran reproductive biology, such as sperm transfer and storage, egg fertilization, sperm competition, postcopulatory (cryptic) female choice, and vivipary. Phylogeny and biology of Diopsidae (stalk eyed flies) and the convergent evolution of stalk eyes and other head processes in other families and insect orders. Diopsidae in amber. Laboulbeniales (Ascomycetes) on Diptera.
